Information Integration Group (IIG) has been in business over 23 years, and we have a wealth of experience with Sage 100 ERP. We’ve believed and continue to believe that Sage 100 ERP, for which we have expended countless hours, energy, and resources to gain expertise, will be one of the foundations of our respective businesses.
We have received mixed signals from the marketplace to date, regarding the market-wide acceptance of Sage 100.
Questions about its robust nature, as well as integration with SQL and Sage CRM, have been some of the justifications shared by skeptics in the marketplace. Similar mixed signals, however, have been emanating from Sage. Concerns include the scope and speed of R&D development, in general, the delivery of web-enabled Sage 100 ERP as well as mobile and web initiatives.
Like others that began as MAS90 resellers we at IIG, have also taken on other products, however, continue to believe in the flexible, functional, and scalable nature of Sage 100.
In the good old days, MAS90 was renowned for its resellers’ ability to offer solutions using a Master Developer’s directory. IIG, for example, has over 200 add-ons in this directory.
You may remember that in the summer of 2003, Sage started releasing modules in Business Objects (I came across a pre-release guide for version 4.0 dated July 2003). Since then, we have had modules that have been interoperable, and have caused a lot of market uncertainty about Sage 100.
Here at IIG, all modules that we’ve planned for upgrade using Business Objects are completed. Also, our products are compatible with and tested in Sage100 ERP Premium (SQL) environments. We firmly believe that revisiting and offering these solutions will, once again, slowly but steadily make Sage 100 ERP a viable product in the marketplace for the long run. In additional favorable factors, such as annual maintenance contracts for customizations, IIG also provides ease of upgrades due to Business Objects technology. We use one master developer for most of the enhancements, and IIG offers reduced programming rates to Sage resellers based on past activity.
In this vein, we believe that vertical solutions and advanced distribution functionality providing an increased reach of Sage 100 ERP to a wider range of industries and serving companies of varying sizes would be a prime incentive to work together.
Some of IIG’s vertical solutions which have helped close many Sage 100 ERP opportunities include:
• Service Maestro
• Rental Maestro
• Apparel Maestro
• Point of Sale
• Material Planning and Production Management
Furthermore, there is much potential to increase end-user satisfaction and help them streamline operations by taking advantage of advanced distribution products. We also recognize that there are untapped opportunities on upgrading existing clients using pre-made add-ons.
The following popular IIG enhancements are part of our advanced distribution solutions:
• Multiple Bin Locations per Warehouse
• Container Tracking / Advanced Landed Cost Management
• Inventory Allocation to Sales Orders / Release Backorder Processing (processing future orders)
• Warehouse Transfers using Sales Order Entry, Shipping Data Entry and Receipts of Goods Entry
• Special Pricing and Transaction Counters by Warehouse
• Warehouse Automation using RF Based Devices – Pick, Pack and Put-Away
• Pick Ticket Spooler
• Palletized Shipping, BOL, and Master BOL
• Part Tracing & Recall Management
• Rebate Processing
• Royalty Processing
• Consignment Goods Tracking – Vendors / Customers
• Core Processing
• UPC Processing
To provide value-added functionality for Sage 100 ERP core products, IIG is keen to offer bundled pricing options to resellers. Also, on relatively larger projects requiring programming, IIG is eager to provide reasonably lower development rates to its valued resellers.
Our combined efforts can pay huge dividends for your organization and ours – a real win-win situation.
We would love to meet with you to discuss potential collaborative initiatives and schedule a web demo to show you and your team a high-level overview of our products.
